Caring and Sharing Canned Food Drive
It's the time of year when Primrose Schools come together with Helping Hands to provide our communities with food to stock our food banks with much needed supplies. There is always a need for nonperishable food items, but now so more than ever. With the recent floods there is even a greater need for our help. We will be collecting nonperishable food items now through November 8th for the Food Bank of the Rockies. We also are asking our students to participate in chores for change to collect money to shop for nonperishable food items. Donations can be made in the bins around the school and in the chores for change jars at the front desk.

Celebrating Cultures Events
You are invited to come tour the world at Primrose Schools!
Don’t forget your passport at the door. You’ll need it during your travels as you sample different countries cuisines, experience their cultures, listen to the sounds of their music and share the history of your own heritage with others. We ask that you prepare a dish representative of your heritage and bring it with you to share at the dinner. Please also include a recipe card for display so that others may enjoy their favorite meals in the future and also to prevent any allergy mishaps.

Bracken Testing - September 2013
Primrose Schools recognizes the necessity and value of well planned, developmentally appropriate experiences for children. In our continuing effort to provide children with the skills and knowledge necessary to instill a lifelong love of learning and prepare them for more formal education, this month we will be conducting a pre-assessment of the Bracken School Readiness Assessment-3 (BSRA3) in our Private Pre-Kindergarten and Jr. Kindergarten classes and the Bracken Basic Concept Scale Assessment-3 (BBCS3) in our Private Kindergarten. Please make sure your student is well rested and has a hearty breakfast this month in preparation for testing. Results will be available at our December Parent Teacher Conferences.

We'll be collecting donations during the month of June for our Primrose Family at Primrose School of Southwest Oklahoma. Many of the staff and families have been affected by the recent tornadoes and are in need of our help. Please consider making a monetary donation, gift card donation or donation of baby items such as diapers, wipes, formula, and new clothing. Donations can be made in any of our collection boxes located around our schools. Donations will be donated directly to the Primrose School of Southwest Oklahoma to be distributed among those in need. Thank you for helping us to support our Primrose Family.

Spring Fling 2013!
It's time for our annual Spring Fling Event! This is one of our favorite Helping Hands events at our schools because we have the opportunity to raise money to help out some of our favorite Charities and our students learn what it means to give back to the community! We'll be having a silent auction the week of April 22nd-26th. Check out all of our auction items in our hallway and let the bidding begin! Winners will be announced at our Spaghetti Dinner starting at 5:30 pm on April 26th. Plates are $3 and 100% proceeds from the dinner and the auction will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House, Reach Out and Read and Primrose Children's Foundations! Help us support some great causes and join us in the auction and the spaghetti dinner!

Open House March 9th!
Send your friends and family to tour our schools and learn about our Balanced Learning Curriculum. You will also have the opportunity to register for the 2013-2014 school year as well as our 2013 Summer Camp! Space is limited. Remember current Primrose families, we have a referral program where you can earn tuition credit if you refer someone that signs up by March 31st.
